Charles Slife, Location Consultant

Charles recently joined the Austin Consulting team as a Location Consultant, bringing over seven years of experience. Prior to joining Austin, he was employed by the City of Cleveland, where he managed economic development, real estate, and urban planning projects in the Department of Economic Development and the Office of the Mayor. Charles gained experience in workforce development, business attraction, brownfield remediation, incentive and contract negotiation, project design review, zoning regulations, and construction permitting. Charles began his career in the Washington, D.C. area at a firm specializing in governmental data management and publishing.

Charles received his Bachelor of Arts degree in anthropology and international studies from Miami University and spent a semester studying at the University of Hyderabad in India. He received a Master of Public Administration degree from Cleveland State University, with a concentration in urban economic development.
