As a Location Consultant for Austin Consulting, Michael is responsible for performing site location studies for the general manufacturing industry. Michael’s work on location studies for international clientele has included: site evaluation, community assessment, detailed field investigations, utility analysis, labor market analysis, evaluation of economic development incentives, and industry research.
Michael is also gaining experience in site evaluation for “shovel ready” certification, as Austin also performs this service for state, regional and local economic development organizations across the country.
Michael brings over 10 years of environmental consulting experience to the Austin Consulting team. Prior to joining Austin Consulting as a Location Consultant, he was employed as a Senior Associate at Ramboll Environ (formerly ENVIRON). Michael gained experience in due diligence, site investigations, environmental assessments/ecological risk assessments, remediation and restoration, resource assessments, and environmental compliance. This background provides him with a unique perspective when conducting due diligence and evaluating sites with potential challenging environmental risks.
Michael received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio.
